Passport Requirements

• Must bring a valid U.S passport book (not just a card)
• Passport must be valid at least through your trip. (recommended 6 months)
• Make sure you have a copy of your passport in the event yours is misplaced.

Airport terminals and procedures

Visitors will be required to present the following documents to the Immigration Officers:
• Customs Declaration Form
• Valid Passport
• Return Tickets (non-residents only)

Following immigration, you may retrieve your luggage and proceed to customs for terminal 2 international (T2 Int), terminal 3 International (T3 Int) and terminal 4 International (T4 Int). Officials perform a quick courteous inspection and you will be on your way.
Procedures by terminal:
Terminal 1 (T1): Once you have retrieved your luggage, please keep walking straight to the parking area where you will meet the Amstar staff.

Terminal 2 (T2 Domestic): After passing the revolving door keep walking to the baggage claim area and pick up your luggage. Continue and do not speak with any promoter inside the terminal. Amstar staff will be waiting outside the first glass door on your right after the time share corridor.

Terminal 2 International (T2 Int): Once you have completed the immigration and customs process, keep walking straight. Cross the second glass door. Do not stop for the time share promoters at any time. Amstar staff will be waiting for you outside.

Terminal 3 International (T3 Int): After the immigration checkpoint, keep walking to pick up your luggage and to clear customs. Once this process is finished, walk straight to the second glass door where you will find the “meet and greet” area. An Amstar staff person will be waiting for you.

Terminal 4 International (T4 Int): After immigration and clearing customs, please keep walking to the left corridor that says “Hotel Shuttles & Tour Operators.” On arrival, airport staff will greet you outside of the customs area carrying signage and will take you to your transportation.

Public health policy update:

Mexico has implemented a smoking ban in public places, including restaurants, bars, hotels, shopping malls, beaches and parks. Travelers should be aware that noncompliance may result in fines.

NOTE: U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book for this trip. Allow up to eight weeks to obtain a new or renewed passport. Your passport MUST have at least six (6) months validity from the date you will be returning to the United States. Please refer to The U.S. Department of State website for additional information on obtaining a passport www.travel.state.gov.

These may include health screenings, testing or vaccination requirements, travel authorizations, entry forms, quarantine requirements, curfews, closures, reduced operating hours, or limitations on activities and gatherings. I accept responsibility for ensuring that I and my traveling party are medically and legally able to travel and possess all required passports, visas, identification, health documentation, entry forms, authorizations, and other necessary travel documents. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I accept responsibility for any injury, illness, loss, damage, claim, liability, or expense resulting from the inherent risks of travel, my personal circumstances, or my failure to comply with applicable travel requirements.
